Sterftes is baie skaars.

It is the main cause of more serious scorpion accidents in Argentina. It is not usually aggressive. How severe a sting is depends on the age of the person stung and the amount of venom injected.1

Wat doen dit as dit bang is?

It can sting to defend itself when it is handled, stepped on, or hidden in clothing when someone is getting dressed.1

As dit steek

Kry vinnig mediese hulp, veral vir kinders: sommige skerpioene is dodelik vir kinders.

Bel altyd eers jou noodnommer (112, 000, 911). Dit is algemene noodhulpraad, nie mediese advies nie. Noodhulp-basiese beginsels

Bly veilig

  • As een jou steek: bly kalm, bly stil, bel jou noodnommer (112, 000, 911) of kom vinnig by 'n hospitaal uit.
