Dinnik's viper is a venomous snake that lives high in the Caucasus Mountains, in parts of Russia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. It is found in forests, shrubland, grassland and rocky areas, often at great heights. Like all vipers, it uses venom, so it is best to keep well away from any viper you see.1
