Perty's wandering spider

• The top of the front body section (the prosoma) is reddish-brown with golden bristles.1
• The eye area has light grey bristles and a dark brown band running diagonally across it.1
• The fangs (chelicerae) are dark brown with golden-yellow and white bristles.1
• The rear body (the opisthosoma) is golden on top, with dark side walls.1
• The underside is yellowish brown, with four white lines in the back half and two dark brown side bands.1

බොහෝ විට පටලවා ගන්නේ: It is very similar to Phoneutria nigriventer and Phoneutria eickstedtae. Females of Perty's wandering spider have several basal grooves on a part of the reproductive structure (the epiginal lateral apophysis), while these grooves are absent in P. nigriventer. Males have a tibial pedipalp, a leg-like palp near the front, that is the longest of the three, or similar in length to the cambium, and a curved, hook-shaped tip on the emboli (the sperm-transfer structures).1
