Rough-scaled snake
การกัดThe rough-scaled snake is a brown or olive Australian snake with a bad temper. It is highly venomous, so it is one to keep well away from. It lives in rainforests and wet forests along the east coast, from mid-eastern New South Wales to the far north of Queensland.1

- Brown to olive in colour, with narrow, irregular cross-bands or blotches of darker brown1
- Belly is greenish-grey or olive-cream, often with darker blotches1
- Mid-body scales have raised keels, which give a rough, ridged look1
