怎样认出它

  • Light brownish grey to blackish body colour1
  • Usually 24 to 33 large, oval blotches along the sides, each with a pale centre and a dark spot in the middle, so they look like bull's-eyes1
  • A dark stripe runs from behind the eye, edged above by a narrow yellow or white line1
  • Usually 21 rows of keeled (ridged) scales across the middle of the body1

常被误认为： This snake has long been confused with G. saxatilis in Korea and G. brevicauda in eastern Liaoning, China, where they live together. Its variable colour pattern has made identification harder.1
