Stuart's coral snake is a venomous snake that lives on the Pacific side of southwestern Guatemala. It has bold rings of black, red and yellow. It is special because it is found in a small area of high, wet forest.1

The tail has 3 to 4 broad black rings, separated by narrow red-brown rings.1
