Was frisst es?
It hunts grasshoppers, stink bugs, spiders and other scorpions. It grabs prey with its pedipalps (front claw-like limbs) and sometimes stings it, then feeds on the head first, leaving the hard outer shell.1

Bleib sicher

  • Fass ein wildes Tier niemals an, fang es nicht und ärgere es nicht, auch kein kleines, und auch nicht, wenn es schlafend aussieht oder tot.

3

Individuals can go without food for phases lasting up to 5 months.1

Young scorpions sit on their mother's back and cannot hunt until they are about 13 to 14 days old.1

5

Males can roam up to six times as far each day as females.1
