The triangulate cobweb spider is a small, common house spider with a triangle-shaped pattern on its abdomen. It builds messy sticky webs in dark corners of buildings and is found across much of the world. It is a helpful spider that catches many insects and other spiders.1

The cephalothorax (front body section) is brownish-orange.1
The legs are spindly and yellowish, with tiny hairs.1
The round, bulbous abdomen is creamy, with parallel purply-brown zigzag lines running front to back.1
The abdomen pattern includes a triangle shape on its top side.1
