No jiibondiree e: It is very similar to Phoneutria nigriventer and Phoneutria eickstedtae. Females of Perty's wandering spider have several basal grooves on a part of the reproductive structure (the epiginal lateral apophysis), while these grooves are absent in P. nigriventer. Males have a tibial pedipalp, a leg-like palp near the front, that is the longest of the three, or similar in length to the cambium, and a curved, hook-shaped tip on the emboli (the sperm-transfer structures).1

Humpito
Studies of the venom of Perty's wandering spider found eight cysteine-rich toxin sequences that appear to be new toxins from this species.1
Perty's wandering spider belongs to the genus Phoneutria, whose members are known for their venom.1
Its golden abdomen with white lines and dark side bands helps separate it from its look-alikes.1
