Kaulback's lance-headed pit viper is a green pit viper that lives only in Asia. It is found in forest, shrubland and grassland in the mountains, at heights of about 1,000 to 1,070 metres. It was first known from just one place in Myanmar, and was later found in Tibet and north-east India.1
