The Morelos scorpion, Centruroides limpidus, is a scorpion from Mexico. It is one of the most venomous scorpions in the country, and it often lives close to people in warm, dry places.1

It lives mainly in warm, dry places across central Mexico, often close to humans. It shelters under rocks, in cracks in the ground and under loose bark, and it returns to these spots when the weather is too hot or too cold.1

常被誤認為： It is often confused with C. infamatus, which has a more rectangular pectinal plate with no dimple. It is also similar to C. tecomanus, but C. limpidus has a small subaculear tooth on the bulb of its stinger. Genetic research shows the two are separate species.1
