Green huntsman spider
The green huntsman spider is a bright green spider that lives in Northern and Central Europe, including Denmark and Britain. It hunts insects among green plants rather than in a web, and its green colour helps it stay hidden.1

- Females are about 12 to 16 millimetres long, not counting the legs.1

- Young spiders are yellow-brown with dark stripes. They only take on the adult green colours after their last moult the following spring.1
