The Jericho black scorpion is a scorpion from the Middle East and the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. It lives in dry deserts and rocky mountains, often hiding under stones or in deep burrows it digs itself. Its venom is quite strong, but a sting is almost harmless to people.1
