The Malayan green whipsnake is a slim, slow-moving snake that lives in trees and often looks like a vine among the leaves. It lives in forests in Southeast Asia, mostly near streams. It is described as mildly venomous, and it is very hard to spot.1

常被誤認為： It is often confused with the oriental whipsnake (Ahaetulla prasina). The Malayan green whipsnake has larger eyes, no thin yellow line on its flanks, and is smaller, growing up to 1 m compared with up to 2 m for the oriental whipsnake.1
