Zer egiten du bere pozoiak?
Its venom is extremely potent and can be haemorrhagic (damaging blood vessels and causing bleeding) or neurotoxic (attacking the nerves), depending on the population and location. Its long fangs, large size and high venom yield make it potentially one of North America's most dangerous snakes. Venom-induced incapacitation can progress rapidly.1
Zein arriskutsua da pertsonentzat?
Arriskua pertsonentzat: Oso arriskutsuaTratamendurik jasotzen ez duen pertsona bat hil dezake. It is potentially one of North America's most dangerous snakes, but it is usually shy and calm. It will retreat if it can and attacks mainly when cornered. Over many years in western Pennsylvania, one naturalist heard of only one death from its bite. Bites are widespread in some areas of Iowa's forests. Its remote, wooded habitat can make emergency medical care difficult or even impossible.1
Zer egiten du beldurtzen denean?
It rattles and feints a good deal before striking, and it will try to retreat first if it feels threatened.1
Kosk egiten badu
- Eutsi pertsona geldi eta lasai, eduki koska jasotako gorputz-adarra bihotzaren mailan, kendu eraztunak eta gauza estuak, eta joan ospitalera azkar.

Egon seguru
- Ez ukitu, ez harrapatu eta ez zirikatu inoiz animalia basati bat, txikia izan arren, eta lo edo hilda dagoela badirudi ere.
- Utzi tartea. Bat aurkitzen baduzu, egon lasai, egin atzera poliki eta utzi bere bidetik joaten.
- Batek kosk egiten badizu: egon lasai, egon geldi, deitu zure larrialdi-zenbakira (112, 000, 911) edo joan ospitalera azkar. Gogoratu nolakoa zen, argazki batek laguntzen du.
Ez dabil zure atzetik. Pozoia janaria harrapatzeko edo bere burua babesteko erabiltzen du, eta askoz nahiago du ezkutatu. Seguru egoteari buruz gehiago
