Kloss's sea snake is a slender sea snake that lives in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Like all sea snakes, it is venomous, so it is important to recognise it and keep well away.1

  • Olive-coloured on the back and yellowish on the belly.1
  • Black rings run around the body. They are wider on the back than on the belly.1
  • The head is black with yellowish spots.1
  • The head is small and the body is very slender towards the front.1
