Langsdorff's coral snake is a venomous snake that lives in the forests of northwestern South America. It is known for its bright bands of red, white or yellow, and black. It is a member of the cobra family, Elapidae.1

  • The rings are arranged singly, not in groups of three.1
  • The colour pattern varies a lot. Some colours may be missing or replaced by brown or grey.1
